Okays, its past 12 mid night and its so called a " NEXT - DAY " but still i want to blog about yesterday, cause its SO recent. 30 minutes ago. so maybe i'll blog again tonight about todays DAYTIME events.

FIRSTLY, i am VERY VERY VERY thankful to the Lord for giving me such a good leader, discipler, a friend and a sister : Adelene ! xD ( ade, if ur reading this dont be shy ah ! )

yes i could still remember when i was a fresh Christian, i was quite rebellious, i didn't obey her/leaders/authority much. BUT i started to wonder why she asked me to do certain things and certain instructions, and i felt that they were all for my own good. and she was in fact guiding me in my walk, she was teaching and reminding me that i should glorify God in all my actions and decisions.

MOST IMPORTANTLY ! i am really THANKFUL for the times that she willingly sacrificed her time for discipleship ! the times that she had to adhere to my time schedules, for her understanding that i have to be home by 9pm daily. she still made it a point and a must to have discipleship weekly and not for it to be missed. even though she knows that she'll be scolded, even though she knows that she'll be late, she didn't mind. and still she would come my house at the end of her day , all the driving lessons, all the work at her workplace , instead of going home and resting, she was working for God, she never complained ! she did it willingly and joyfully for God.

For this i am thankful, for she has set a very good example as a leader, with her actions, she caused me to grow, not stumble in the Lord. her actions as a leader has greatly encouraged me to be even more on fire for God, even for my passion and hunger for God to even grow !

TODAY
- went to school
- had 4 periods of MT ! :D
- had tranings
- HAD DISCIPLESHIP !

okie so as usual im going to share abit about today's discipleship x)

I Choose to Submit as Jesus did !
Hebrews 13:17 - Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. they keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey then so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you.

what is the first thought that come to your mind when you see the word SUBMISSION?
although we may look to it as a linkage to abuse and expliotation, or even as a doormat for people to step on, BUT its wrong :D

in God's kingdom, submission is VERY powerful and it is a very liberating thing !
and most importantly, we must submit to GOD'S idea.

- even though God knows each and every one of us individually and speaks to us on a individual basis, he also speaks to us through human channels of authority.
-he speaks to us, disciplines us and even mould our character through our : parents, pastors and spiritual leaders.

anyone can rebel, it is definitely easy to rebel. HOWEVER, it isn't easy for one to submit. only a muture person does. submission dont make us smaller, BUT bigger ! Thru this act of submission , we honour God and please God.

sub mission is NOT :
- to be a doormat for others to step on
- to blindly follow others
- to be forced to do something that you are not willing to

what submission really is :
- acknowledging the God-given authority of someone - that God has placed him or her in authority over you.
- to have humility
- to voluntarily co-operate with authority, even when we disagree
- to realise that God knows best; that we are not in the position to judge those who are in authority over us.
- an act of faith that expresses trust in God
- a sign of spiritual maturity, honouring God and bringing pleasure to him.

Why not submitting to God and rebelling against authority is wrong? :
- the rebellious attitude reflects a rebellious attitude towards God.
- rebellion had origins in satan, he was proud and he went against God. he was thrown out of heaven. :)
- when we have rebellious attitude, we're following the example of satan. however, when we submit, we are following the way of JESUS who humbled himself even to his earthly parents, even to death ! by following Jesus, we become more like him and the person God wants us to be !
- when we are submissive, we become qualified to lead others, by having a humble and submitted heart, God will then trust us with authority and leadership.

James 4:7 - submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
